An Army spouse, Beth has been a dedicated and vocal advocate for military spouses in the workplace focusing on workforce development, specifically while stationed overseas. Recognized as a subject matter expert she has contributed to panel discussions, authored op-eds, and been called on to support various members of Congress who support military spouse initiatives.
Currently at Amazon, Beth is growing her career, after nearly two years working on the Global Military Affairs team as the Military Spouse Program Manager, she has moved on to AWS as a Technical Business Manager. Regardless of her title, she works to remove barriers and advocate for this untapped talent pool.
Outside of her work for Amazon, she is an alumni of the Bush Institutes Stand-To Veteran leadership program, an advisor to MilitarySpouseJobs.org and the Military Officers Association of America, is the Chairwoman of the board for the Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce, and sits on several DoD and White House working groups focused on reducing employment challenges.
