Voting Ambassador Program Organizer
Maria Campbell is an attorney, advocate, and proud military spouse. Maria coordinates SFI’s Voting Ambassador Program. This program educates and registers military voters who reflect the diversity and global reach of the military community, encouraging them to use their vote and voice to shape the policies that directly affect their lives.
Maria brings a background spanning employment law and international labor policy, with a focus on protecting vulnerable workers and strengthening accountability in systems that often exclude them. She began her legal career as a business and employment attorney in Nashville, Tennessee, while her spouse was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. She later worked at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs, where her work focused on labor diplomacy and collaborating with public and private stakeholders to address forced labor, child labor, and human trafficking in global supply chains.
Maria is an active member of the Military Spouse JD Network and serves on the board of the Fort Bliss Spouses’ Association. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California and Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. She is admitted to practice in California and before the Supreme Court of the United States. Maria is a proud Filipina-American daughter of immigrants. She lives in Fort Bliss, Texas, with her husband, Edward, and their three children.
