Talking to Friends and Family About Voting

Talk to Friends and Family About Voting

Please, please, please can we talk about voting?

As the election season kicks up, we’re bringing back a series of Secure Families Initiative webinars to provide answers to some of the most asked questions. We hope you’ll join us for “How to Talk to Friends and Family About Voting!”

Talking to people we know about voting is TWICE as effective as talking to strangers. But sometimes it feels awkward! How do you even bring up voting with them?

In this webinar, we’ll talk about “Relational Voter Outreach” techniques — some tips and tricks for encouraging your friends and family to vote. By the end, our goal is for you to make a list of people in your life you can reach out to, and strategize the best way to approach each of them.

We’ll also facilitate a community discussion for anyone who wants to brainstorm their situation, so bring your questions!
