Voting Pain Points: Share Your Voting Story!

informacion para los votantes

2024 is a big voting year for all of us! And we want to better understand how the process of registering to vote and casting a ballot is going for military and overseas voters in our community.

If you’ve experienced a “pain point” while trying to vote this year, we want to hear from you.

Did you request an absentee ballot that never arrived? Was your voter registration removed from your state’s voting rolls since the last time you voted? Did your ballot get rejected for any reason (and if so, were you notified)?

If so, let us know.

SFI’s mission is to educate, register, and turn out military and overseas voters in all elections. We also engage in advocacy around federal and state policies that can increase accessibility for our diverse community. We do this work because our military lifestyle can make voting uniquely challenging — in 2020, military voters were 27% less likely to vote than our civilian counterparts!

Sharing your “pain points” story can help us provide voter support this year, and can inform our policy recommendations moving forward.
